Can I bring alcoholic beverages into the hall?

Yes, guest are allowed to enter the hall with hard liquor, wine and champagne.  Any beverage that needs to be cooled on ice must be provide by the renter and served from the Hall's designated area.  Guests of the renter will not be allowed to enter with ice chests of any size.

What if I want to hire a DJ besides the one provided by the hall?

Outside DJs are welcome.  They are not allowed to use the halls equipment, dance floor lights or sound system.

Do you have a kitchen or serving area?

Yes, it is available at an additional charge.

Do I have to clean up?

Yes, the renter is responsible for the removal of all trash from the hall, sweeping the floor, and arranging the chairs in an organized manner.  If the kicthen is rented, it must be left in the same condition as which it was received.  The Hall will provide trash bags and brooms.

Can I use an outside caterer?

Yes,  outside caterers are welcome.  The food is to be served for a two hour time period and then removed from the hall. 

Can I cook at the Hall?

Guest are allowed to cook with bar-be-que pits in the parking area only, not on the deck.  The renter will be responsible for obtaining and presenting all required City of Houston permits.

Is Gabby's Hall in a nice area?

We are located in a newly developed area between Hobby Airport and Beltway 8.  A recent study of crime in Houston, found that this area has a low crime rate.

Does the hall come with tables and chairs?

Yes, the hall comes standard with approximately 35 tables and 210 chairs setup.

Can I hire my own security?

No, Gabby's currently has a contract with a local security company.
